Enrique Hurtado moved to Nashville in 2011 from Gulfport, Mississippi to work for TVA as the Lead Researcher for TVA Economic Development and later as a Senior Lending and Incentives Consultant for the same organization.

 

In Mississippi, Enrique served as the Deputy Director of Business Development and Trade at the Port of Gulfport, where he rose to the challenge, after Katrina, by retaining business from large companies such as: Chiquita, Dole, Dupont, and Crowley, among many others, resulting in millions of dollars’ worth of business in such critical times.

Enrique was an intrinsic part of the team that developed the plan that ultimately won a grant for 570 million dollars after Katrina. He also worked for the Mississippi Development Authority as the Senior Import and Export Manager for Latin-America where he promoted products and services of over 250+ companies in such market.

 

In Nashville, while at TVA, Enrique exceeded client expectations by providing the analytics and incentives that the team used to attract, retain, and expand hundreds of companies, create thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in capital investment in seven states of the TVA region. He worked on manufacturing, headquarters, data centers, transportation, logistics, distribution, and wholesale projects among many others.

 

Enrique’s vast experience in real estate, business development, trade, research, and economic development make him the perfect candidate to represent an individual or a business in matters of selling, buying, or leasing commercial or residential real estate. He remodels, flips and rents properties in Mississippi and Tennessee.

 

Degrees & Education

 

Enrique Hurtado has a master’s degree in economic development from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from UMSNH. He is proficient in the use of real estate, manufacturing, trade, sales, labor, and economic modeling databases and software, including Realtracs, InfoUSA, D&B, Piers, Trade Profiles, Datamyne, Hoovers, OneSource, EMSI, ESRI, Implan, CoStar,  STDB, etc.

 

Enrique holds a Real Estate Affiliate Broker license, he is an Accredited Professional Stager and is proficient in English, Spanish, and French Language.
